Lisa Blaser, Recruiting Administrator in the Florida office completed the 39.3 Mile Disney Goofy Race and Half Challenge as Team Mentor for the Central Florida Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Program.

The event was held at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida on January 9th and 10th 2010 and raised more than $5.4 Million Dollars for blood cancer research and patient services for children and families battling cancer.

Representatives from HQ Aero exhibited at the 2009 NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention in Orlando, Florida. Thank you to all the attendees and exhibitors who stopped by our booth and gave us the opportunity to meet with and discuss our services.

Lisa Blaser, Recruiting Administrator in the Florida office completed her 3rd marathon as a Team Mentor for the Central Florida Chapter of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Program. The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon was held in San Diego, California on May 31, 2009.

The Mid-Atlantic Aerospace Complex (MAAC) and partners from Fairmont State GEAR UP, RESA VII and the Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center (RCBNAEC) sponsored the 3rd Aerospace Industry Expo on May 28, 2009.

Ron Eagle, Vice President of HQ Aero US Operations and Sharon Aves, Recruiting Administrator visited the GEAR UP Expo providing a helicopter demonstration for the students. The expositions have reached out to over a thousand middle and high school aged students over the years.

This expo is a continuing effort to educate youth about the aerospace career opportunities available in the local area.

The MAAC Aerospace Expo will inspire the students by showcasing the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math disciplines that will enable them to pursue aerospace career opportunities.

HQ Aero would like to Congratulate Lori Blagg, Aviation Recruiter, in our Florida office who exchanged wedding vows to David Blagg on Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 in Florida.

HQ Aero recently attended the 2009 Aviation Industry Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada from March 10-12. We would like to thank those who stopped by our booth and gave us the opportunity to meet with and discuss our services.

Congratulations to Mike Herbert, Project Manager with West Coast Charters located in Long Beach, California our lucky prize winner for the American Tourister Luggage Set.  We would also like to thank Bill Mascott from Mascott Equipment Company, located in Portland, Oregon for assisting us in the selection of the winner.

On September 15th, Ron Eagle, Vice President of HQ Aero rode his Yamaha Vstar in "Ride for A Cure", a charity for cancer. This charity has helped many children with expenses in their fight against cancer.

On October 12th, HQ Aero sponsored a charity golf event for the West Virgnia Area Catalytic Campus Ministry. Ron, along with the other three team members, placed second in the event.

HQ Aero is proud to announce it has teamed with Fairmont State College in a combined effort to give new aviation graduates "on the job" experience. Graduates will intern at the HQ Aero head office where they will gain valuable insight into the daily workings of the aviation industry. We are enthusiastic to work with the local community and proud to have been chosen by Fairmont State College for this opportunity.
