Representatives from HQ Aero exhibited at the 2011 NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention that was held in Las Vegas, NV  October 10th – 12th, 2011.  We want to thank everyone that stopped by our booth.  The lucky winner who won the Disney Park Hopper Passes was Floyd L.. Heuser.  Mr. Heuser is the Business Development Manager at Goodrich in Twinsburg, Ohio.  Congratulations Mr. Heuser!

We would also like to thank Kenny Anderson, the Project Director at  KBR Building Group in Greenville, SC who assisted us in selecting the winning business card.

Our very own Marketing Representative, Brittany Miller, auditioned for this seasons American Idol in Pittsburgh, PA on July 15 2011 and completed two rounds.  She participated in WV Idol, a competition for local talents to get their foot in the door with a guaranteed spot in the audition, back in ’08 that sent her to Atlanta, GA to compete in season 7’s American Idol where she made it past 2 rounds. She feels that it was a great learning experience and since then she has grown a lot musically. She has never gone with the attitude that she just wants to win.

HQ Aero staff members Lisa Blaser, Lori Blagg, and Sarah Marimon from our Florida office participated in the IOA Corporate 5K held on April 14, 2011 in Downtown Orlando.

The Corporate 5k is a 3.1-mile run/walk event held exclusively for Florida’s corporate community. Businesses and non-profit organizations form teams and participate in the Corporate 5k for camaraderie, friendly competition and celebrating with co-workers. Consisting of over 600 local companies made up of 13,000 participants that include employees, CEOs, vendors, friends and families, the community joins together in downtown Orlando for fun, networking, and a celebration of healthy living.

Representatives from HQ Aero recently attended the 2011 Heli-Expo on March 5-8th in Orlando, Florida. Thank you to all the attendees and exhibitors who stopped by our booth and gave us the opportunity to meet with and discuss our services.

Lisa Blaser, Recruiting Administrator in the Florida Office recently completed the Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco, California. This annual event has raised over $100 million dollars for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and blood cancer research since its inception in 2003.

Lisa volunteers her time as a Mentor for the Team In Training Program which trains individuals to complete a variety of endurance events.  She is currently training and fundraising to complete the Disney Princess Half Marathon in Orlando on February 27, 2011.  Lisa is running this event in memory of her friend and teammate, Doug Oxendine, who lost his battle with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia in June of 2010.  To learn more about LLS or to make a donation to her fundraising campaign please visit her website.

Representatives from HQ Aero exhibited at the Aviation Week MRO America's Show on April 20 – 22 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ.  We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth and gave us the opportunity to introduce ourselves and discuss our services.

Dorothy Rodriguez from ACI in Miami, Florida was the lucky prize winner of the Flip video recorder.  Congratulations Dorothy!  We would also like to thank the staff of Aero Hardware and Supply from Miami Springs, Florida who assisted with all of our drawings.

Lisa Blaser, Recruiting Administrator in the Florida office completed the 39.3 Mile Disney Goofy Race and Half Challenge as Team Mentor for the Central Florida Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Program.

The event was held at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida on January 9th and 10th 2010 and raised more than $5.4 Million Dollars for blood cancer research and patient services for children and families battling cancer.
